AUCTION TIPS TO CONSIDER: TISDELL’S AUCTION:
How long has the company been business? Tony Tisdell has run a successful auction service for more than 12 years.
How many auctions do they do a year? On average, Tisdell’s does 20 auctions per year.
Do they have an accomplished staff to handle your auction needs? Tisdell’s ensures that enough staff are available to make certain a successful auction.
Do they have references? References are available from ANY of our past auction customers upon request.
Does that price include portable toilets? Tisdell’s shares in the expenses incurred by the auction, including portable toilets. We order and transport the toilets so the customer is not burdened with the task.
What advertising can be expected and who is responsible for paying for it? In order for the customer to feel that Tisdell’s is doing all that can be done to guarantee a successful auction, Tisdell’s splits the cost of all advertising expenses with the customer. Advertising generally includes a classified ad in the local newspaper, printing costs and postage.
Do they have a mailing list for regular followers and how many does that include? Tisdell’s has a mailing list of 250+ regular auction followers that receive a flyer as our personal invitation for every auction.
Is there a set up fee for the auction? Tisdell’s works hard for their money. To ensure fairness to the customer, there are NO set up fees. Set up is included in the commission fee.
Who is responsible for hot checks and when can you expect payment after the auction is over? All checks written at the auction are in the company name. Tisdell’s is responsible for all hot checks. You will receive a clear check from our company 3-5 working days following the auction.
